Black is the opposite of white. It is the complimentary factor to the beginning stage. At night all becomes black. Just as the coming of the night signifies the end of the day, so does this belt level signify the end of the students basic stages of development. Black is the colour in the universe which signifies endless time and space. It is the beginning of the end.
