Tang Soo Tao Maroochydore
The Tang Soo Tao Maroochydore School was established in 1988. Our purpose built Dojang (training hall) was built in 1998 and remains one of the best dedicated martial arts training facilities in Australia.
Classes are conducted by experienced instructors with more than 20 years experience and are designed to extend and challenge your abilities within a controlled environment.
From internal development methods like Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Yoga and Meditation through to high energy external self-defence techniques Tang Soo Tao is a well-rounded, traditional martial art. Tang Soo Tao encourages discipline, strength, harmony and balance with classes for adults, teenagers and children learning and training together at scheduled times throughout the week.
One of our philosophies, as Tang Soo Tao practitioners, is to pass our martial knowledge to others i.e. instructor to student, therefore the art form keeps living and breathing, passing on from generation to generation, in Korean this is known as ‘Ryu Pa’. Thus a school only exists if there are both instructors AND students.
